Welcome to inkmann art, my blog about all things pen & ink. I'm a fountain pen collector, and enjoy using them for my sketches. My name 'Inkmann' echoes the Isle of Man, where I live. This Island's landscape, coast and heritage are my main inspiration, and the abandoned homesteads, known as Tholtans here, are a subject I often return too. My pen collection is growing alongside the different inks I can't resist, as pen and ink is my favourite medium. But I am also a fan of digital art and watercolour, and sometimes combine all three mediums to gain the effect I like. Herons on the beach

Usually most early mornings the herons are on the beach looking for breakfast. They are stunning and majestic and spend long times being perfectly still concentrating on their hunting skills

This is Inky my Fantastic Honda CT125

Here is my new bike (Inky) on the road with 33 miles on the clock- and counting. Really enjoying it, having fun. You can't ride this bike without a smile on your face.

Going along the promenade early this morning I came across these guys. The weather's not so much a Saturday Night Fever - more like Monday's Rain.

A really Big thank you to Mark and Sharon and all at Seven Seas Motors for helping me get my dream bike. I can't praise them enough for being so professional and helpful. They have some wonderful bikes...... if only I had a bigger garage!

At last I am proud owner of Honda CT125

This is a great wee bike.

It may be only 125cc but it can go anywhere

and it makes you smile....not a bad thing eh ?

Looking forward to riding and also going to some out of the way

places where I can do some sketching as well.
