Many on the Isle of Man will remember the Imperial Hotel on Douglas promenade

Pen and ink from Isle of Man,

 I  drew this pen and ink last year on the way to the Chasms, near Cregneash.

 Came back during TT week to find it has gone . Not sure of the circumstances but glad I was able to capture it before it went.

It is a great spot with amazing views towards the Calf of Man.

Does anyone know what it was used for?

Lighthouse on the Calf of Man which I believe was built by Robert Stevenson in the early1800's.

Bridge over the Lhen Trench

The Lhen Trench in the northern part  of the Isle of Man. It passes under this bridge to the sea. This is such a fascinating spot. I've heard stories that the Vikings use to bring their boats up this narrow spot from the sea. 

Tholtan, Isle of Man

Another popular Tholtan on the island, but does anyone know where it is?  I have done several pen and ink sketches of this location which is one of my favourite spots on the island.

Some of my favourite pens

            Opus 88

This is my Opus 88 demonstrator pen. The only thing I can say is it's brill. Ive had it some time now and it has never let me down. It's quite chunky and holds an awful amount of ink so less refilling. This is always close to hand and used daily. The unique filling system is an eyedropper which is supplied with the pen. 

This is such a good quality pen, with some great features
